  It took me a while to get around to writing this review. Visited Byron Bay on vacation in 2013 as a study abroad student from America. My friends and I stopped by for a drink after the beach-going. The owner, Nick, saw my friend's basketball jersey, and immediately invited us to play in his men's league basketball game that night as they were short two players. Anyway... long story short, we played in the game. We won! Then went back to the Treehouse for drinks and pizza afterward. So Nick, thanks for being so welcoming to a couple Americans. Totally random to play in a stranger's men's league basketball game in Byron Bay, but totally fun! It is a memory that will stick with me forever. The food and drinks were great too. Btw, Nick's a heck of basketball player.

  After reading good reviews we decided to try this place out for dinner on the 19/6/17. I don't think I have been that disappointed about visiting a restaurant in a very long time/ even ever I think. The waitress who greeted us seemed uninterested and very rude. We ordered two glasses of wine which seemed like they were poured from the last bottle on earth (in other words barely a drop in the glass). The pizza was the probably the worst I have ever ****ing had and obviously overpriced. Frozen pizzas from the supermarket taste better than what we ate. No flavour, barely anything on top, dry. I had to put salt on it to make it taste somewhat better. A group of locals came in and they got treated like they were the royal family! Will never return again.

  What an awesome place! The food was so good as was the beer! Great atmosphere and vibe. Staff really nice and the live music was a very welcome addition. I'll be back for sure!
