  Asked to Leave the Premises After working in hospitality for the past several years in Australia and overseas, I cannot say I've ever had such an experience as I have had today. I sat down for a couple of hours two days ago at Luscious Foods in the Industrial estate for a chai and to catch up on study. Again today, I had to take my car to the mechanic. I sat down, ordered a chai and finished some study. Two friends met me for lunch and we each ordered meals from the restaurant. They ordered coffees and drinks and we chatted for a while. My friends left and for the past hour I continued studying. I was outside on the phone to my mum and the owner came up to me asking me to leave. He said I had been to his restaurant so many times, only ever ordered one drink and didn't buy anything else, spent so much time there and was using their tables for too long. Wow. Not only the fact that I live here and grew up in Byron, but simply for the fact that I am a customer buying drinks, food and using their tables (which is what a restaurant is for, right??) They were not busy either, had several tables out the front empty. Very disappointed in your service, Luscious Foods. I have never done this kind of thing before but I think this kind of poor, disgraceful service should be talked about. Sorry, you lost me as a customer :/
